If I could turn back time, what stories would I change? Would those changes alter my life for the better or would I have regrets? “For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of His Son. (Romans 8:29) As a believer, every circumstance or event that takes place in our life is used by God towards that end. Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” We can’t keep looking back and wishing if only things would’ve been different. Yea we’ve made poor choices and life hasn’t always been fair, but we must trust God and focus on today. What can I do today to change the damage caused by yesterday that I won’t regret tomorrow? I awoke from a dream last week. In it was a woman singing “if I could turn back time.” I mentioned it to Janice and she said there was a song by that title. I didn’t recall the melody in the dream, but the words were stuck in my mind. By the end of the day I had written this song and it has been causing me to have a greater sense of purpose in my life. I pray it impacts you too as you think about the goodness of God in your life. - Bill
